Oil Refining
Trading and refining are Ertis Oil & Gas, LLP’s two commercial operations. Through cooperation with major refineries in China, Russia, and Kazakhstan, Ertis Oil & Gas, LLP is able to process over 300,000 barrels per day. This facility handles the operations at Ertis Oil & Gas, LLP, product supply, bio and intermediate feedstock, and gas logistics. products and petrochemicals produced by Ertis Oil & Gas, LLP. With a 17.8 million tonne annual capacity, it operates three competitive inland refineries in China, Russia, and Kazakhstan.
With the help of specialists from the Kazakhstan Academy of Sciences’ Institute for Problems of Hydrocarbon Processing, the firm is modernizing its range of catalytic cracking catalysts. The Kazakhstan Institute of Catalysis is in charge of developing catalysts for hydro-processes. Scientists in Kazakhstan have already developed middle distillate hydrotreating catalysts, allowing them to yield a sulfur-free product that meets all Euro-5 requirements. Lately, the company has focused its refining efforts on meeting the market’s demand for premium petroleum products.
Ertis Oil & Gas, LLP has been able to increase its competitiveness, diversify its product line, and improve product quality with the aid of refinery renovations over time. An important turning point in Kazakhstani history has been reached with the rehabilitation of this oil refinery. In compliance with TR TS 013/2021 Technical Regulations, environmental class K5 motor fuels were produced at 100% rate for the Kazakhstani domestic market during the program’s implementation. A number of the Company’s refineries have been producing motor gasoline with enhanced operational and environmental attributes, AI-95-K5 Euro-6, and AI-100-K5, since 2022.
Along with other petroleum products, the refinery produces aromatics, roofing and insulating materials, and liquid paraffin. The refinery manufactures goods that meet worldwide quality standards, including bitumens, jet fuel, roofing materials, and diesel fuel. Every year, Ertis Oil & Gas, LLP grows its industrial facilities. In order to lower operating expenses, boost petroleum product quality, enhance industrial and environmental safety, and reduce costs overall, the refinery is developing a tiered process flow diagram innovation strategy.
